How To Be At Your Best During The Age Of Uncertainty
Would you like to be at your best, more consistently? What do you think would enable that?
If the past couple of years has shown anything, I believe it’s this
The quality of our thinking determines the quality of everything that we do.
The global pandemic has shown everyone how most people's thinking is very connected to what’s going on around us. When things are not the way we want, most people’s thinking suffers. But some people’s thinking does the opposite. Why is that?
We are now living in the Age of Uncertainty and the way we enable our best has to change and our existing mental models for work, leadership and life are been shown up in many cases.
But if the quality of our thinking is so important, then the next logical question has to be: How do we improve it? - consistently and in real terms.
When was the last time you stopped to think about your thinking? Or to reflect on how you get the best from yourself?
For the past 25 years, I have been obsessed with this area. And in the last 5 years I have been exploring a new approach. One that is less effortful, embraces uncertainty and allows you to reach higher levels of focus and performance with less stress. My new approach is based around what I'm calling The Inner CEO model.
It's not just for CEOs but is about understanding how to become the CEO of your life - at any level.
